Publications

The scientific production of ISTI is freely available on IRIS, the CNR institutional repository and from ISTI Open Portal, a gateway developed by the Institute to make deposited research products accessible and searchable.

Given the transition from People to IRIS, ISTI Open Portal is being reorganized and has updated data through December 31, 2023.

 

ISTI supports and promotes the principles of Open Access, the global movement founded to enhance the accessibility to knowledge and to facilitate the advancement of research and education. As of January 1 2018 ISTI has adopted an institutional Open Access Policy and has developed Guidelines for the deposit of the research products according to the Policy.

We propose some graphic visualizations displaying ISTI scientific output over the last 20 years and the trend of open access publications. The apparent reduction in the overall publications number in the last three years is due to a change of objectives: ISTI researchers are reducing the number of submissions to conferences and other venues, in favor of an increased number of publications on high-quality journals.
